Farm Structure & Environmental Engineering

The Department offers research facilities in a wide range of topics including low cost housing and grain storage structures. In addition to these, researches are also carried out in the areas of soil stabilization, concrete from waste materials, ferrocement, design of livestock farms and house hold grains storage structures.

Farm Power & Machinery

The department has completed number of projects. In the recent past, REFPI, a DFID funded project of the department has created tremendous impacts on dissemination of agricultural equipment in the field. As a result some of the technologies are being locally manufactured and well adopted by the farmers of Bangladesh. Farmers are getting the benefits of these technologies.
